Back on the coast...

Big skies of towering clouds drifting down the Firth of Forth greeted us on Saturday on a beach ride out Aberlady Bay,  The tide times were against us to get to the WW2 subs wrecks but what the heck we went out there anyway. Donald and Sandy joined me for the ride west, then Chris who was running late met us at Gullane...

  3. Hi, do you have any suggestions on bikes that can withstand 24/7 tropical sun/sand/saltwater that can be left outdoors 24/7 as well? Literally every bike we buy rusts to pieces in a matter of months and if we get a year its amazing. No other forms of transportation on the island are allowed and I have 10 employees needing dependable bikes. thomas.pirog@photonworks.com

  4. Are you buying quality 5130 Co moly frames or Reynolds steel tubed frames. if proofed inside they should last ok,
My Original Surly Pugsley is 10 years old in a few months,
Also are you washing the bikes off with fresh water after they have been in salt water,

Check my post in the labels; `Fatbike preparation for beach riding`

    Hope this helps
